Jerry,
The ribbon cables still looks good, and it's been in and out of there about
10-12 times.
UP-DATE:  It's not a tape deck problem. It's a NO start problem.
I get a Horz drive pulse, at the base, and collector of the Horz driver ,
and at the base of the H.O.T.,....but, it's only there for 1 second, and I
can't tell if it's on freq. or not.
H.O.T checks good, but won't fire up. Going to try a new H.O.T., anyway.
