Phil, Service mode entry is done by the following;
press mute once on remote;
press and HOLD mute on remote;
while holding mute down on remote push menu button on front of tv an "s"
will appear on screen, your now
in service mode. Pressing menu button on tv once your in service mode will
display the adjustment menu.
Crosshatch is displayed by pushing the "7" button on the remote
the "2" "4" "6" "8" buttons move the cursor
"5" button makes the cursor blink (which means that color can be adjusted)
pushing 5 button again makes cursor stop blinking
100 button erases the Red line
0 button erases Green line
RTN erases Blue line
Push 7 button when done to enter the adjusted states, picture changes for
approx. 1 second
pushing 7 button again returns set to normal picture, hth, If YOU want to
be responsible
for the manual I can mail it to you via the post office and you can mail it
back when he`s done with it,
