[TechAssist] Toshiba 50H82 , TAC0263 dead, "click",power LED only

Well, this is from a smoker. Stains inside on the boards, the dust is
brown and gets all over you. Nasty.
Customer said at first, the picture brightness was dim, then would get
very bright and shut down except the sound worked. She is not technical
at all, so I take this in consideration. I checked the power/defl board.
Two power devices, D461 (diode, looks like a HOT on a sink) seems OK,
and a HOT Q404 tested OK. Four pico fuses near the front,
F850,851,852,853 all test OK in circuit. Nothing visable. I plug it in,
can hear a quick double click from a relay at rear. I then push power
with the remote and a click, a low audio thump thru speakers, nothing.
So, the standby supply is running to recieve the remotes' on command.
Searched my archives and techrepair CD with no results.
Anyone have experience with this chassis?
