I use RCA 255351 kits. These are caps that you put on the wire, and use sealer. I use #483531057158 from Tritronics, which is cheap, dries fast, and seems excellent. I have used silicon caulk, but iut has to cure thoroughly.I have also used second anode leads saved from flyback jobs.Be sure to clean the glass really good under the caps,or be prepared to see smoke and arcing.Been there done that! lol al Al Leatherman 224 Rt. 46 Mine Hill, NJ. 07803 973-361-5796 WWW.ALS-TV.NET ----- Original Message ----- From: <MDileo0000@xxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, October 10, 2003 8:59 AM Subject: [TechAssist] Re: Sony Projo KP53S65 CRT anode boot and lead wire > I have had complete success by filling the inside of the ulter caps and then > overcoating them with clear RTV silicone adhesive.
