I have (2) Sony PCV-LX920 Pen-Tablet Slimtop Computers that I personally use both home and work. I've been having a problem develope over time with the LCD pen-tablet monitors on both. Very fine lines (one pixel in width) would show up on the screen one by one, more each month. I did some research on Google.com and found this website http://www.agoraquest.com/ seems EVERYONE has been having this problem with ANY series Pen-Tablet LCD screen and Sony is not doing anything about it. I found the follow post below on the Agoraquest forum; ......There is a technicial service bulletin regarding this very commom LCD high-failure (fine lines starting to appear on side of the pen-tablet LCD screen) problem from Sony of Canada. I don't know how Sony USA deals with it here, but the bulletin for Canucks states that the LCD will be replaced whether the unit is within the warranty period or not (proof of purchase may still be required). The problem is the LCD panel, which is manufactured by Hitachi. The bulletin reference number is CNV030028. ...... Any Tech in Canada do work for Sony or familiar with this? I have my receipts. Is Sony USA doing anything about this very high failure?
