Yeah, I'm working on one right now....the dc fed kind that is.
If push came to shove he could always wrap a couple of turns of insulated
wire around the flyback and feed the heaters that way.

Ooop...yes the direct view sets you can isolate no problem....it's some of
the newer projos that have a DC supply for filament instead of scan derived
