Spray a Q-tip with freeze spray and touch the jungle chip...is picture 
improves...you found your problem.

Let us know the fix. I have one with similar symptom (Mine is a model
KV-32XBR36), that I suspect the Jungle IC, but, afraid to order one for it.
Mine is NOT sizzling, it works OK for the first 15 minutes, then the lines
keep getting more pronounced, until they turn into jail bars. I shot ckt.
cooler under the shield of the jungle chip, and it does seem to restore
normal operation for about 10 minutes. Then the lines come back, and the
cycle repeats itself.
