Yup...that's an old "classic".
If you're stuck for OEM part...NTE558 0r NTE580 should get you by.
R587....just make sure it's 2 Watt and Flame proof.

Wow, I haven't seen one of these in quite a while. It was a very common
problem before and I used to carry at least 6 pairs of the parts on the
truck. You should also replace D518 (1000 volt G2 source diode) as well
as
R587. Here is the parts info:

D518   was part # 8-719-300-65 but is now replaced by part #
8-719-976-64
(RGP02-17).

R587 (1.8K, 1 watt), Sony part # 1-216-434-11

Set came in with dark, red picture.  Picture tube tested good with my
B&K.  I then found only 178 volts at G2.  I traced G2 (1000 volt line)
back to an open, "browned" R587, a 1.8K 1 watt resistor.  I was
wondering if it was a common fault for this resistor to turn brown in
the center and go open, or is the fly back or picture tube at fault?
