Kevin; Probably not...Not sure about your Model..but can you not switch to EXT or Video another way. Bob would be able to tell you...but not being experienced in Sony...putting an input into Video (S-Video) does not make the set switch to External Input. I believe it will discriminate between regular Video and S-Video..
