[TechAssist] Sony KV27TS23 numerous black blobs thru picture when cold

Hard to describe. Usually when turned on from cold start the picture has
a number of quarter sized black "blobs" with a tail to the right over
the picture, throughout the screen. (like tadpoles). As it warms up they
disappear, but is taking longer to leave. Otherwise pic looks OK. I
thought "IK" troubles but not sure if it's CRT related.
Any histories on this symptom?
