Yes, IC1501 STV9379 is the vertical deflection IC.  Is this IC on the
convergence board?  Although the model number is not listed in the
members section, this set could be an RA-2 chassis.  All I found was a
KP-46C36 model which is an RA-2 chassis.  HTH

This set has no vertical deflection. Checked resistors around flyback
for opens. Looks like the IC1501 STV9379 is the vertical deflection IC,
but not sure without print. Data sheet says vertical booster. If anyone
has a print of the vertical circuit you could email or fax I would
greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance, Tim
