The Sony P/N for 2SD1497 is 8-729-301-00 and is in stock at Sony.

This information is found under model KV2781R which indicates the
transistor in the kit is a good sub.

Customer requested IH svc, on unit, found F102 blown. Q511 shorted,
IC1601 and T501 shorted. After replacement, set worked ok but found Q511
getting very hot after 10 minutes, width on right side would pull in,
transistor would fail if set allowed to continue running.

RESOLUTION

As a test, I installed a 872901632, now part of kit T99856641. With this
part installed in place of original, set worked ok for 20-30 minutes
with no sign of overheating or width/ hz problems. Touch up of pin amp +
gray seal repair completed. 2nd/3rd time problem with this transistor.

but apperently is incorrect.
