Bob, It's possible that all your computer DVD's are - format and the new service DVD is in the new + format. Just like a lot of the automotive DVD's are still - format and will not play + DVD's. Same with the older home DVD players. The rental DVD's seem to work ok on both formats. You might want to check your manuals for your DVD players for compatibility.
