[TechAssist] Sony Camcorder CCD-TR21, records but no playback

Sony camcorder CCD-TR21 records picture and sound fine, but doesn?t
playback picture?only sound. Picture blanks out to a grey screen and
when I use FF or rewind search the picture changes to snow with
interference lines?but no visible picture at all. Does this sound like
a circuit problem? TIA.
