[TechAssist] Set top tuner

I have a guy who's looking for a set top cable tuner with a "remote" remote
control sensor.
I called my local supplier, they haven't sold a set top tuner of any type,
in years and don't know where to get one.
He has a motor home that has a tuner for U/V that is hidden in a cabinet and
the remote control pickup is on a 6 foot long wire that can be placed
outside the cabinet. He's looking for a similar one to use in his house, but
for cable instead.
Any suggestions?
