All H output transistors are not created equal. Sure they all cross to
ECG2331. The operating parameters and in particular the resistor value
between the base and emmitter will be different. I dont recall that
Sanyo ever used a  2SD1555.
I suggest that you use the exact replacement. If that does'nt solve your
problem then come back to this list. Find out if that H.O.T. is really
the right one. I don't know for sure or I would gladly share the info.
