Still fighting with this 27'' unit.After repairing a no vert problem,the
only way I can get tuner video is by lifting pin 3 of IC901.Also the set
will only stay on for approx. 5 min.When it's on the sound & pix are
good.The reg B+ is 130vdc.HI volts is within specs.Pin 3 of IC901 goes to
Q701 & Q702 cct which check ok.I replaced the eeprom,IC201,IC701.The micro
IC901 is NLA &I think is the cause of both my problems,ie shut down & no
tuner video.The A/V i/p's are good but still have shut down.Does anyone have
this IC.The print gives # RM-272EV7;the actual # on the IC is
SZM-292EV7...TIA....
