[TechAssist] Samsung PCL5415R Locks up- Second request

Hi everybody..
Hope someone has run into this before.. Customer complained that set
would
"lock up" whenever she switched the input to any of the
video inputs from
regular cable. Pix, audio still worked but volume, on/off , and input
switching would not work. Unplugging the set and replugging brought
everything back to normal. She mentioned that even though the set is
only 3
weeks old her dog had attacked the remote and it was mangled. I
ordered the
remote before driving the usual 60 miles and really expected to just
write
upa VERY quick service form.. Surprise.. I very quickly found out
it locks
up with the new remore also and will also lock up when the input
button is
pressed on the set manually.
Any thoughts?
