Hi All,
This one plays the tape ok but dvd section gives picture without color and
out of sink. Picture like out of tune and top side tilted to the right and
bottom to the left.
I remember another customer had the same problem and sent the unit to
Samsung and they said that it needed the sink adjustment. I don't have the
service manual. I think it has some settings in service mode.. Just wanted
to know if anyone had the same problem and how to get in to the service
mode..
TIA

    Hi Joe
I don't think this one has PAL feature. I can probably check with
service manual but if you know how to get out from the PAL option please let
me know, Thanks

well, on the two that i've had where PAL was activated, it was a matter of
sweeping my eyeballs fast enough to see the menu and using the customer's
remote to select "NTSC". it wasn't as easy as it sounds - real hard to read
the menu's when they're whizzing by. If you've got the owner's manual & the
customers remote, maybe you can count keypresses..... Note that the PAL
caused a VERTICAL roll - if you're out BOTH horiz and vertically, this
probably isn't it.
  good luck - joe
