I have seen the various virus formats published in professional computer
science journals and I understand that they can also be found on the
internet. Vandals tinker with the format details until they come up with a
combination that the current anti virus programs cannot handle. Thats why
there are so many variations of similar viruses. Every once in a while
somebody comes up with one that is entirely different.
