[TechAssist] SONY GDM-F500 monitor Focus Changes

Fellow Techs,
  I am working on a Sony GDM-F500 monitor which goes out of focus 
intermittently.
  The focus will change within the first 30 minutes, after that it will not 
change.
  It has the dual focus element crt.
  I have replaced the focus block @ $75.00
  It has horz & vert pulses feeding the block, the pulses do not change when 
the focus changes.
  I have checked the 2 resistors in the crt socket, cleaned the spark gaps in 
the socket.
  Have any of you guys come across this problem? I am starting to suspect the 
crt, I hope not.
