Hi Ron,

There is a firmware update for the JVC XV-S60, which corrects a problem
of not playing translation subtitles in the STAR WARS movie Phantom
Menace. Is there a similar firmware fix for the Sony DVD players
without changing IC601?

Hello Jeff and all,

In addition to the article Jeff mentions here,
http://www.iwaynet.net/~nesda/DVDEZ.pdf

There is also a companion article with additional info we did the
following
month, here:
http://www.iwaynet.net/~nesda/SonyDVD.html

I will link the 2 together as soon as I have time.
Ron
