[TechAssist] SAMSUNG TXG2045 *VOLUME AT FULL*

I have a 20" SAMSUNG TXG2045 that came in that when on the VOLUME is at
maximum. If you press the Volume down to adjust Volume, the set turns off.
I am assuming there is corruption of the EEPROM 24C02 or a problem with the
Micro processor ZILOG SZM322EV7.
Has anyone come across this problem before. Please advise any help appreciated.
