[TechAssist] RCA vcr VMT390 intermittent color

We have only seen intermittent color on this vcr while playing tapes, but
customer seems to think it may also be doing it while using tuner of vcr.
Does not respond to tapping of pc board. No pattern seen for intermittent to
show up. Only intermittent problem seen on this model before has been ic202
(a component combination on a small pc board) causing intermittent luminous
problems. Is that "ic" a possibility for intermittent color also?
Any suggestions appreciated.
