Junior: We get a lot of those little RCA/Daewoo sets. I bet your Flyback is bad. We have seen bad regulator IC, dead short, will blow new AC fuse instantly. Seen about 30 or 40 of that fix. Then of course the other common failure on that chassis is bad flyback, causing dead set. No blown fuses or anything, just dead. Seen probably 60 or 70 of those. I have had worked a few of these RCA mod# F19430 sets that were dead. normally the reg is shorted . But with this one the reg is good , and you can hear the power supply start up when you plug it in.when I switch it on all happens is the degaussing relay cuts in for a few secs but nothing else . it has the 5v for the eeprom and the sys control . this set carries a GCT841B ic for the signal and deflection and I am not familiar with this ic. can any one tell me if there is suppose to be a standby voltage on this ic , or Evan the pin out for this . **************************************************************************** * Classifieds!
