[TechAssist] RCA Projection PTK 169 PFA HV Regulator problems

Hi guys, 169PFA RCA proj. unit came in dead, replaced the usual in the
power supply, 3 caps, IC, Chopper, fuse, surge resistor, CR4118. Set
comes up but R4762 (430 Ohm) on the High Voltage regulator board
(collector of Q4755 to ground) smokes big time (and it`s to young to
smoke). I pulled connector J4701 to see if the HV splitter circuit was
loading the line and it made no difference, I`ve checked C4755 &4756,
replaced Q4753 (a little leaky) the other transistors check good, I
can`t check the Fet Q4752, but it doesn`t read shorted, anyone seen
problems on this module before?? It`s NLA as a module or I`d just
replace it, ANY help is greatly appreciated, Larry E.
