We repaired two of them with the same problem replacing the hi voltage
splitter. After that no more 75 ohms resistor
burned, and good hi voltage regulation..

Robert, thanks for the reply, I have the problem with J4701 disconnected
from the HV regulator board so it can`t be on that little module, Larry

Hi guys, I`m stumped on this PTK169PA. Transistor Q4754 on the HV
regulator board (board is pn 202042 but NLA) is burning up almost
immediately,as well as R4767 a 75 ohm resistor,I replaced both of them
as well as Q4755 and Q4752,all oem, made no change, I removed connector
J4701 that goes to the little board on the HV splitter, still no change,
can`t run the set for more than 10 seconds or R4767 and Q4754 will self
destruct. Has anybody run into this before?? has to be something simple
I`m missing. tia, Larry E.
