Hello,
I am working on a RCA Model P46922 / Chassis PTK195M2A. The set came in dead. I
found a shorted H-out (Q14401), and replaced it. The set powered up, but with
CRT's at full on with overscan. (We just have the chassis, no cabinet.) Found
resistor R19100 melted, and the connector P19106 with burn marks. Replaced the
resistor and cleaned up the connector with no results. Soon as it's powered up,
that resistor starts smoking. Then proceeded to replace blackened resistor
R14701. Found (R15191) on all three CRT boards blackened, replaced them, and
found R12916 black too. Pin 25 of U16201 read 6 Ohms to ground, new one does
not. Replaced the IC and the coupling cap (C12904). Now when powered up, does
the same thing as before. Am I just missing something? Or is it time to bail.
Any help would be great.

 Thanx,
