Hi Guys, it must be my month for headaches, this 197 chassis had the
typical dead set,
3 clicks when you pushed the start button, ordered the oem fly that
comes with
the resistor & cap, replaced the kit and set now starts up with audio
but the
picture is 2" wide, almost complete horizontal collapse, I thought all
these late model
sets would shut down with that narrow of a picture? I soldered the coil,
driver
transformer, checked for poor joints etc. But I didn`t bring the
schematic cause it
was just a typical flyback replacement for a 197 chassis, going back out
tomorrow
with the schematic anybody seen this before? tia, Larry E
