Hi all; This unit came in dead. Upon looking in the unit we found no blown fuse but after applying power did find the transformer heating up quite quickly and warmly. There were no shorts in the diodes. Disconnecting the secondaries of the transformer stopped the overheating. Upon looking further, a shorted zener diode on the power supply/audio output board was found and replaced. The power supply/audio board was disconnected from the rest of the stereo to determine if there is still any other shorts on the line. The replaced zener diode started to over heat. Has anyone a schematic of this board and also anyone have seen this problem?
