Quasar V V 1220 Combo -
Original complaint - no rewind and Dark picture/color in TV mode.
Fixed the rewind problem and turned up screen control to brighten pix.
Also, adjusted pix with remote.
Still have problem with color in Playback -it is there but is too light.
Think it might be lighter in SP than EP.
It is a 2-head rotary pick-up head drum so the difference SP to EP may
not be actual.
I suspect the heads are worn OR a problem with the IC3001- the infamous
VCRS pedastal mount IC.
Do not have a head drum to sub; I could pull the IC and check the caps.
If IC was bad, would it affect the Tuner signal?? Don't think so. Of
course the heads would not affect tuner signal
