I agree Walt...These Box Companies make a killing on selling extended warranties, and when you need it...small print tells you it's "Not Covered". Long story short...always had Extended Warranty on my furnace, paid each year...small print said no Warranty on Heat Exchanger. What goes after 10 years..."Heat Exchanger". Even at that..no longer available...new Furnace. $5000. Screw them. -Ed- Ed Gaidies Tel-Tek Electronics Ontario-Canada teltek3@xxxxxxxxxxxx On 18-Aug-04, at 12:53 AM, walter wood wrote: > Generally extended warranties are not cost > effective for the consumer. > However, as much trouble as Big screens and > projectors give, I would buy the extended warranty. > That is, is someone could run me fast enough to > give me a B/S. > In my opinion, 'till the manufacturers get their > act together, A 32" Sanyo from Wal-Mart is the way > to go. > And I hate Wal-Mart, but!!!!!!! > Walter > --- Kevin <kevintv@xxxxxxx> wrote: > >> I am thinking of buying a HDTV projector for my >> basement.
