Troy,
Start by pulling all boards and solder like a madman. Replace any
questionable caps in power supply. After that, you are ready to start
troubleshooting.
You say you have no sound. Not even hiss? Does the volume bar change
when you change the level? Have you applied external A/V signal?
I have the same model TV in my home. It was given to me when another
shop told the owner it would cost $800-900 to repair it. One of my techs
fixed it. Caps, solder, and time. I love the set!
