Not sure on this one but some sets do turn on by pushing any button by
design. You might not have the proper code entered for that model on the
remote unit, try another code. I programed an RCA remote the other day for a
Magnavox that moved functions to different buttons by changing to other
listed Mag codes. Try another brand remote.
