As of late I have had numerous fairly late model Philips TV's (B800-series mostly and similar) chassis, and similar have the same defect: One flyback pin, most always the CRT filament supply pin is detached from the trace going to that pin.The blob of solder is attached to the pin,but they are not attached to the trace. Only an ohms test shows.I had to run bypass wire ftom pin along these traces.Usually not the original complaint. Mostly vertical intermittants or the bad vert eventually causes shut down.Fix that, and notice CRT is cold with HV. Maybe flexing the board while troubleshooting the set aggravates an existing condition. Save a call back and hard wire these filament pin connections on the flys over to their plugs a few inches away from now on. The latest was a model TS2768C101, 27B800. Another was a TS3259C101, 32G700-7585 32" TV. After other fixes, no CRT filament volts to the tube. Phil Bader -- Philip Bader Jan Phyl TV Inc. (estab. 1976) 3420 Recker Hwy.
