This set will work for hours just fine, then will shut off by itself.
Seconds or minutes later, may come back on for few seconds, then repeat
or maybe stay off and won't turn on.

Thinking it might be an intermittent flyback, I replaced it with a new
one. Thought it fixed. Ran for three hours in shop before I closed up
for the night. Left it running. Was off when I got in this morning.
Turned it on. Began doing the same thing as before--on and off at odd
intervals. Found many times that it would attempt to come on, but shut
off when the video came up. Tried adjusting screen--no change. Removed
crt board. Would come on at all. Reinstalled crt pcb. No power up.

Have checked for bad solder, leaky switches, and bad caps. The changing
nature of the problem makes troubleshooting frustrating.

Any ideas?
