[TechAssist] Panasonic camcorder..PVD426D..part ID and help..

First....I accidentally broke the ribbon cable from the microphone to main
PCB...It appears I have to
purchase the microphone at $29.99 and the ribbon cable comes with it...is this
correct?
Also, this came in because the cover for the lens will not clear the lens or
will not cover the lens
totally..I ended up ordering the incorrect part for this.
>From the schematic, the item number I need is 321...is this called lens
>cap....wing? Also, is there a
part number for the spring looks like #295?
Is there a fix for this, or will replacing the cover be needed?
I can not see why it will not go back all the way in camera mode(will not fold
up) or cover the lens in
VCR mode.
