We had a Panasonic 35" that had some fluid (sticky,like soda) on the front PCB like it spilled on the CRT and ran down. Took several cleanings, replaced eeprom and micro. I also changed the front tactile buttons. Since the OSD should be part of the micro, probably it's flakey.
