Hello Everyone, hope someone can help me with this one...

The power supply regulates just fine, it looks like I have no pincushion with
the picture bowing in from the sides. The picture was dark so I turned up the
screen to have a better look and the sides of the picture will squeeze inward,
it also will increase the high voltage and shut the set down. Also if there are
any brightness changes in the picture from scene to scene it affects the width.
I ordered the diagram and it doesn't show any wave forms in the pincushion
circuit and only a few voltages. I do have a waveform on the output of the
pincushion IC and out of the mosfet output. Checked the signal at the collector
of the horz. output and at low screen it looks a wiggle between the to pulses.
At the base of the driver there is a squarewave with a wiggle throughout the
whole wave. This certainly doesn't look correct to me, is it possible that the
shutdown is on the verge of cutting off the drive causing the signal to ripple.
I saw something like this on a very old set that had the shutdown affecting the
drive due to it being on the edge but I thought these new sets had very tight
tolerances for shutdown. The thing that is throwing me is no pincushion. Could
the ripple cause the pincushion to go completely inactive?

I guess I need a place to start, has anyone run across anything remotely close
to this. I haven't had to work on many newer Panasonic tv's.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks
