Hello,

Tech in my shop has had this one in with a vert deflection problem for about
a month.
The Pic is good but, vert deflection 12" up from bottom is missing.
He changed the STK convergence ic's to no avail per local tech at another
shop,
as well as a couple of regulator Ic's. Still same problem. I'm thinking
leaky cap somewhere.

Anyway I am looking at components on the small vertical amp board, all elec.
caps
so far look good. I am also checking the surface mount transistors closely.

Anyone have info or history on this model?

Item specs: PIONEER PROJ. MDL: SD-P55A5-K FCC ID#:

Thanks Much
