Hello,
I just finished two service calls for this virus problem.
I pre-empted other calls today to address this issue.
One virus I found was the "W32.Spybot.Worm"
The other call was due to the Mblaster virus, this one appears
to be worse that the W32.Elkern virus! Along with the Microsoft
patch watch for any 'unusual services' that are running. Symantec's
website also has a cleanup tool.
This virus will adversely affect the "RPC" service. Anyone using
"Broadbad connection" is obviously at risk.

If you are running windows xp make sure you download and install latest
security patch for MSO3-026 From microsoft. If your machine is infected
with the W32/LOVSAN.WORM or better known as the mblast.exe You must turn off
restore back up and then apply the patch prior to cleaning the virus. If you
are using mcafee you need to have dat file 4284 we have had several machines
in this morning infected and many many calls.
