You really should have worked out the payment options before servicing the
equipment.
We service Walmart stores here in the Dallas area and we tell the people in
claims dept. upfront, If we are not authorized for a certain brand they will
recieve an estimate and a C.O.D. bill for service upon delivery.
You would certainly do the same for any walk in customer.
