John,
I don't see this resistor indicated for this specific model listed in
WINSTIPS but here is what I did find that may be the same or similar:

Jeff Stielau : 1/8/03 : Shoreline Electronics
Check R9610 (1.6ohm 3 Watt) On Power Supply Board. If Open Ic401 ( La7838)
Has Failed Burnt Hole In It.
Change The Two 100uf Caps & The One 220uf Cap Next To Vertical Output.

Replaced The Vert Ic & Pump Up Cap. Still No Vert
Defl. Had No 27v Supply. Found R9610 On The Pwr Supply Open. This Is A 1.2
Ohm 3w Resistor.
Hope This Helps Someone As This Doesn'T Get The Supply Voltage For The Vert
Ic From The Fbt.
