Larry,

I won't even work on these sets any more unless the customer is willing to
go for a complete capacitor rebuild.  I won't even begin troubleshooting
until getting all of the leaky and high ESR caps on all five boards
replaced, washing the electrolyte of the boards, repairing the corrosion,
and repairing numerous bad solder connections.  We have not seen one of
these with less than 60 bad caps in years.

Have you been through all of the electrolytics on a five major boards?
