Paul, sorry didn't get back to you sooner. Friday's grampa's babysitting day, Top priority.. Is there a HV splitter (divider) between flyback, and crt's? Did you get your HV probe working? If so, checking xformer output would be 32kv, Here's a few voltage points you might check ! PF pin 1 230v, PCB-Conv. PA pin 1 +23v, pin 2-gnd., pin 3 -23v, pin 4 +14v, pin5 gnd. pin6 -14v ---PCB-Signal PH pin 1, 14v...PCB Main PB pin 1- 130v, pin 2 - 123v. pin 4 gnd. Again, S.M. I'm using is a V-12B! Hope info i'm giving you is helping. Bill, Bill's TV Sonora,Cal. . Paul <dntwntv@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Thanks Bill I have the 1200 volts and the 200 volts. That is one reason for the question. I don't think the IHVT is putting out enough HV, but I am only going by the typ of arc which is weak and more like crona than an arc. Healthy arcs that I have tested in the past would jump an inch or so. Not this one. Paul Carol Rundle wrote: Paul, since you have CRT filiments, probably some H.V.... Check + 1200 v , comes from T551, thru a fusible resistor, R580 100ohm1/2w, D555 Rc2. to DM connector to CRT SM .connector Check R580 "open" ? S.M. I have is for a V12B chassis.. check parts location and values, ! (Caution) ! should be the same! Hope this helps..
