Don't know.
Do a search on Winstips...type in Mits and add C916...see how many hits
you get.

Had a 37"...before the customer got it into the shop...blew out the
Filaments on the CRT.

Very innocent looking...but it is a 10ufd/100volts.

Unless you have a lot of H/O transistors...don't change, and speculate.

As a rule...with that regulator...if it's there...I change it...even
though it may be in for an "audio problem".

Yes, C916 tested good. Sorry I didn't mention that obvious solution.

Try C916...Regulator Circuit.

This 35" set comes on with HV for a split second and then goes off. I
brought just the chassis back to my shop and replaced C940 which had
high ESR. I then powered up the chassis with the HOT removed and my B+
went up to about 145 volts before it went into shutdown again. I am
thinking the B+ is going too high, causing the shutdown. I am
suspicious of the regulator IC901 STRS5141G, but I need to know what the
proper B+ is for this set. Thanks.
