Randy,
Perhaps this will help, from Tech Repair CD:
MGA\CK3526\Insufficient vertical sweep. Tech changed the vertical output IC and
several capacitors in the
circuit. \\\\Did change the charge pump capacitor located between pins 9 and 13
of the LA3878 vertical
output but the charge pump diode located between\Pin 8 and 13 must also be
changed. After replacement of
diode unit work fine.\\\\\\\
