Somehow my original posting was not followed so the trail was lost. It was for a Durabrand DBTV2500 with a shorted STR regulator and HOT and R506 was cracked in half. John's answer sent me to the right website to find out what R506 was: 180 ohm @ 20 watts. I don't know what caused all the damage, maybe just a poor design. I am still looking for the resistor in my junk pile so I have not fixed it yet. I will post the repair when it is fixed.
