John;
You have been in the "BIZ" long enough to know that any of these Companies
work on the concept like McDonalds.
Each product is the same as the last one...
In Service...our service...each customer is different. My customers are not
"numbers"....although when my shop is closed...my answering machine comes
on..stating my business hours...etc...etc.

I also have the shop phone with Call ID sitting next to my computer in the
house.

When I see the name of a Senior come up, and knowing my customers...I pick
up the phone...try to help over the phone.

This is what makes you Special..in your business.

Doesn't make you rich...doesn't pay your mortgage...but makes us feel well.

I'm not going to attempt to explain the other half of my Customer base, that
tries to get everything for nothing..and presumes a set you fixed 5 years
ago has "exactly" the same problem..and should be fixed on a "No Charge"
basis.

I see times changing....some of us...the "Old Guys" have a customer base,
and I presume we will all go about the same time...God Bless us.

The new generation will have "Mailboxes" ...to try to get to the right
person, or computer, and if lucky...actually get to talk to a "Human"...and
hopefully, in a "common" language.

I don't know how many watch CNN, but I am a component of Lou Dobbs
"Exporting America"...and I'm always willing to state...as a Canadian...I
don't like your President.;-)
