Bill you will not clear the "protect" function until you eliminate the
reason the unit is going into protect. Try unsoldering the legs of the o/p

The system will not function and displays a scrolling "Protect". I assume
this related to the out puts. Not a clew on how to clear it. Any ideas. I
tried powering it up withj various buttons pushed.
